Professional Summary: A hands-on information systems professional with broad technical expertise providing support in multiple IS/IT disciplines; with 20 plus years of relevant experience supporting applications and operating system software, hardware, CAD workstations and server technology I am able to respond in any of these functional areas.  • Desktop Support Analyst – Project and break-fix support of an internal customer base of 2000+ employees in thirteen buildings in Midtown Manhattan.
• Assisted with the migration of one thousand customers from Windows domain technology to Windows Active Directory.
• Desktop Project Manager – Created and implemented a plan to migrate and consolidate 21 Print Servers of various types (HP Print Server Appliances, NT 4.0, Windows 2000/2003 Server) to Canon Print Server Appliances.
Renamed all Canon Print Server Appliances and print share names to conform to the new standard naming convention.
Created a web based interface that permitted the help desk analyst or customer to add the appropriate printers with the applicable print drivers reducing the need to dispatch desktop support analysts to add printers.
• Created a web based technical support site used by the desktop and help desk support analysts; the site provided a central repository for standard operating procedures, drivers, and software installations.
• Network Technician – Provided level-1 network support of everything on the inside of the router which included, but is not limited to, switches, cabling, and inter-building circuits.
• Created and implemented a plan to reorganize the data closets, eliminate rogue mini-switches and replace/upgrade antiquated switch technology.
November 2004 – March 2006 New York City Transit Authority -- Consultant
 • Desktop Support Analyst – Break-fix support of an internal customer base of 5000+ employees.
• Created standard builds for both laptops and desktops and created a repository of those images using Symantec Ghost.
• Created a web based technical support site used by the desktop and help desk support analysts; the site provided a central repository for standard operating procedures, drivers, and software installations.
• Dispatched support tickets and managed 24 technicians for in-house and in remote site (bus depots and subway stations) support throughout all 5 boroughs of New York City.
• Created an "End-of-Life" policy for all legacy systems and operating systems.

• Made special provisions and dispatched appropriate technicians for “high profile” users

 • Building administrating and maintaining Windows 2003 Servers for various clients.
• Automated the installation applications and application upgrades using scripts using KiXtart, Wise Package Studio.
• Job entailed upgrading and maintaining Cisco Routers 2500, 4500, 8500 and 5500 GD and Major releases.
• Rolled out over 2500 workstations for a client.
Project entailed creating a base image incorporating many company standards and deploying that image on all the workstations using Symantec Ghost Multicast.
Collecting and inventorying all outdated workstations in order to give back to the leasing company.
• Planned, built and tested a disaster recovery center for multiple departments.
• In charge of virus protection strategies. Virus scanning using Sophos Anti Virus, Norton Antivirus or MacAfee.
• Responsible for Upgrading and maintaining IOS for Cisco Routers General Deployment and Major Releases.
November 2000 - September 2001 DKB Securities Corporation – Consultant / Project Leader
 • Planned and implemented the migration from Windows NT4 to Windows 2000 for the merging of Fuji Securities, Fuji Bank and IBJ Securities.

November 1999 – November 2000 HIP Health Plan of New York -- Consultant / Project Manager
 • Lead a team of consultants in the conversion and the migration of 20 Novell 3.xx/4.xx Servers to NT 4.0 Servers for more than 4500 users in the Tri-State area.
Project included building Windows NT servers.
Implementing and suggesting company standards.
Taking inventory of all departmental Network usage then migrate all data based on the departmental needs.
• Planning with Department heads for optimum time for migration.
• Worked closely with in-house developers to build, test and implement installation scripts using Wise Install Master and Winstall for all in-house applications
